The Human, after fruitlessly trying to break the barrier, instead uses their SOUL to possess Boyfriend. Genocide Route: Achieved by attacking Sans at least three times during Sansational. Afterwards, a new portal shows up yet again to take Boyfriend to another new world, and the two part ways peacefully. Sans admits to Boyfriend he's surprised he had a change of heart, and they proceeded to have one more rap battle. Somehow, The Human gets past the barrier and charges at Sans, who, luckily, dodges the attack and kills them instead, leaving Boyfriend flabbergasted. Pacifist Route: Achieved by not attacking Sans more than twice during Sansational. Sans also tells Boyfriend that he knows what happened with him and Cuphead, and warns him to not try anything funny.įrom here, the following events will change depending on the direction of the player's moral compass: They attempt to attack Sans, but a mysterious red barrier prevents them from going forward.
He said that he was hired to destroy Boyfriend by someone unknown, but only after a friendly little rap battle.Īfterwards, The Human comes along ready to kill Sans, but is bewildered to see that he’s busy at the moment. He falls into the Last Corridor, where none other than Sans the Skeleton was awaiting his arrival. The following week, Boyfriend is transported into the Underground, a place where monsters were locked away by humans. But just as he was about to finish him off, another portal appears to whisk Boyfriend away into another world once more. Undeterred, he gives up on singing and attacks Boyfriend relentlessly, eventually cornering him on a tree. At the peak of his rage, he accidentally knocks out Mugman with a powerful blast. He becomes increasingly more violent, attacking Boyfriend with all his power. Losing a second time causes Cuphead's mood to shift into anger.
It doesn't take long, however, for Cuphead to realize that Boyfriend is a tougher opponent than usual, so he decides to double down with the help of his reliable peashooter, despite Mugman’s insistence otherwise. Believing he was the one messing with his lands, he challenges him to a rap battle, which Boyfriend gladly accepts. Not long afterward, a portal takes Boyfriend into the Inkwell Isles, where he proceeds to fall headfirst into the ground.Įlsewhere, Cuphead is wandering around trying to find a "crazy portal opening", until he soon discovers Boyfriend. The cutscene ends with Boyfriend staring in awe at the red light in the middle of it all, that seemed to be different from the other portals. Suddenly he feels a sensation inside of him, and a red portal begins to materialize from inside of him, causing him to quickly teleport from one world to the other until eventually landing back in the dark void.Įxcept this time, Boyfriend finds multiple red portals that filled the void like stars in the universe. As the explosion cools of, it is revealed to what seems like a glowing red window crack, that proceeded to explode yet again into a fiery red star.Īs the ground around Boyfriend begins to fissure and glow red like the star, he tries to escape, while the earthquake expands further in Boyfriend's direction. Girlfriend then that starts to glow red until she explodes into a beam of red light.
After looking around his new surroundings, he barely spots Girlfriend in her nightmare form. In a dark void, a glowing red portal opens up, and out pops Boyfriend.
